Bledlow Christmas Art Fair 1st-3rd Nov 2024
31st Oct-3rd Nov 2024I will once again be taking my originals, prints, cushions, tote-bags, clocks, coasters and cards to the beautiful setting of Holy Trinity church in Bledlow, Bucks. The show promises to be a festive feast for the senses with fabulous art, twinkling lights, festive music and delicious refreshments to be enjoyed. There will be a preview night on Oct 31st 7pm onwards followed by a special late night shopping evening on Nov 1st, 4-9pm with *wine tastings (*booking required) then the show will open to the public on Sat 2nd Nov and Sun 3rd Nov 10-4pm. Entry is £3 for adults, children go free (all door proceeds going to Holy Trinity church and Hearing Dogs at Saunderton)
West Wycombe Art fair.
I'm really looking forward to having some new pieces on show at this new venue for The Exhibibitionists. They are a group of fabulous talented artists from my local area who come together to present a wonderful weekend art fair showcasing their talents in this beautiful old church building in West Wycombe. ‘Crafted’ @ Discover Bucks Museum.
I'm delighted to be taking part in this exhibition which is a collaboration with Discover Bucks Museum in Aylesbury and the Guild's first ever Showcase exhibition. There are currently 35 artists in the Guild so there will be so much to see including ceramics, glass, furniture, printmaking, jewellery, paper art, enamelling, textiles leatherwork, metal and wood.Every single piece of work will be hand crafted. Each day there will be different artists demonstrating their skills and chatting to visitors. There is also the chance to 'Meet the makers' on Saturday 23rd Sept 11-3. Come along and chat with the artists and learn about their creative process. There will be children's workshops too to keep the kids entertained. It's an exhibition not to be missed!
Longwick Art Show Feb 2024
Longwick Art Show, held at Longwick C of E school has been established for over 30 years and I'm pleased to be taking part again this year. I will have 3 new original embroideries at the show available to purchase alongside some cushions and greetings cards.There are more than 90 artists this year showcasing over 540 pieces of original art at affordable prices. Demonstration Days @ Buckinghamshire Craft Guild – Oct 2024
The Guild now has a beautiful new gallery space next door to Obsidian Art. If you haven't visited our gallery yet, you are warmly invited. I will be demonstrating regularly at the Buckinghamshire Craft Guild, Lay-by Farm, Stoke Mandeville. In October my demo days are Friday 11th and Thursday 17th and Thursday 24th. The Guild is open Tues-Sat 10-4 and Sundays 12-4. As always, Guild members will be on hand in the gallery demonstrating their craft, sharing their knowledge and skill and talking to visitors about the work on display in the gallery.
Bucks Art Weeks 10th-25th June 2023
One of the highlights of every year for me is Bucks Art Weeks in June. I will be exhibiting with a collection of new work at Obsidian Art in Stoke Mandeville. There will also be some of my work at the Buckinghamshire Crafts Guild gallery which is also situated at Lay-by farm right next door to Obsidian Art. I will be demonstrating at the Guild during Artweeks. If you are interested in seeing how I create my pieces , pop in to the Guild and watch me at work. Feel free to ask any questions you might have. I will be there 10-4 on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th, Thursday 15th and Friday 23rd June. After the thrill of being the featured artist at last year's Wooburn Festival Visual Arts Exhibition I will be participating again this year. The exhibition is at the heart of the festival and St Paul's church hall is converted into a professional and vibrant art gallery showing original artwork from the best artists in the Chilterns and beyond.
